We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website, soldbysunday.co.uk, and we are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

2. What we collect
When you use our enquiry form, we collect: your property postcode and house number or name, your full name, your email address and your mobile phone number. We also collect technical information needed to run the site securely, such as your IP address, and the result of our automated bot check.
We do not collect any more than we need to provide you with a cash offer, and we never ask for financial details through this website.
3. How we use your information
- To check we buy in your area and prepare your free, no-obligation cash offer.
- To send a one-time text message code that verifies your phone number before your enquiry is submitted.
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your offer and your sale.
- To keep records of enquiries and sales as required for our legitimate business operations and legal obligations.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (preparing your offer), our legitimate interests (running and protecting our business, preventing fraudulent or automated enquiries), and consent where required (for example, marketing, which we will only send if you agree to it).
4. Who we share it with
Your information is only shared with services we use to run this website and handle your enquiry:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and provides our bot protection.
- Twilio, our SMS provider, which delivers your one-time verification code.
- Our customer relationship system, where your enquiry is stored securely so our team can handle it.
We never sell your information, and we never pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
5. How long we keep it
Verification codes are deleted automatically within minutes. A secure backup copy of each enquiry is kept for up to 90 days, so no enquiry can be lost, and is then deleted automatically. Enquiry details are kept only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and no longer than necessary, unless you proceed to a sale, in which case records are kept for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@soldbysunday.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
7. Cookies and tracking
This site uses a strictly necessary security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) to filter automated enquiries. We also use the Meta pixel and a server-side conversion measurement service (PixelFlow) to measure how well our advertising performs. We do not use any other tracking.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
